Still Rising by Vanity got the second place at the oldschool demo competition of the Revision 2013 demo party.

Revision 2013 will take place in Saarbrücken (from 29/03 to 01/04).
A little group of CPC users will be there (Offset, Toms, Eliot, maybe Grim, Rouquemoute, Hicks and others).
The next Vanity demo will be presented saturday night, in the oldskool category : Batman ending.

Mind in Motion, an Amstrad CPC 15 Ko dentro written in 3 days and released at Forever 14 by Software Failure in 2013. Code, graphics and music by Ham/SFL, Arkos Tracker Music player by Targhan and Grim/Arkos. It needs a 64 Ko CPC.

Glory Holes, an Amstrad CPC demo got the 1st place at the ReSeT#8 meeting (Coutances).
Main code by Krusty/Benediction, player byGrim/Semilanceata, music by Tom&Jerry/GPA. Graphics by Grim/Semilanceata, Beb/Vanity, Ced/Condense and Voxfreax/Benediction.

A new Amstrad CPC demo by the Dirty Minds group : Wolfenstrad, written by Optimus, graphics by Voxfreax and music by Sice.
You can download the Wolfenstrad demo here or on Pouet. You can watch it on Youtube.
This demo was shown at the FOReVER XIII demo competition. It uses a wolfenstein 3D like motor, already shown more than one year ago on Youtube.
It was prgrammed in C with SDCC but also in Z80 assembly.
The shortest Amstrad CPC demo by Arteffect is only 0 byte :

Nyan cat is an internet meme, referring to an animated gif of a cat with the body of a cherry Pop-Tart flying through space, leaving a rainbow trail behind the cat; or to a video of the animated ?.GIF?, set to a remix of the song "Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!",[1] or to any of several Nyan Cat based games.
It's now on Amstrad CPC, with the music adpated by John McKlain and the code by Demoniak (just for fun !).
Beware the Amstrad CPC Nyan Cat video on Youtube isnt the last version available (current version is 3).

Amstrad Expo is no more, but rejoice as ReSeT #0 is the new name of the Amstrad meeting organized by the tireless Eliot.
As usual you can expect a warm welcoming, good food, not much sleep (except if you are a sissy and use a bed), 4 competitions :
CPC Hardware will be given for free at the party-place: monitors, keyboards, floppy-drives, floppy-discs... All the parts from CPCParts.net will be available to repair and upgrade your CPC with the help of hardware specialists.
The ReSeT Party will take place from Friday 24th (10:00) to Sunday 26th of June 2011 (18:00) at Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs in Coutances. The price is 11 euros per day for the entrance, drinks and food. You can book a double room at the party place for 20 euros per night.
Please use the ReSeT #0 site to register if you intent to come, thanks in advance.
I advise you to download the Batman Forever demo from Pouet. Or you could could look at this Batman Forever demo on Retropower.eu.

You will be able to read the Break Point 2010 report by Hicks on CPCScene. It's a demo meeting in Germany where the Amstrad CPC was present :
You can download Soleil vert by Supersly (les sucres en morceaux), a graphic made for the Breakpoint 2010 meeting. By the way, Soleil vert is the french name of the science-fiction film Solyent Green with Charlton Heston in 1973. A very good film, I recommend seing it if you didnt yet.
This picture uses flipping to get 31 shades of green (CT65 monitor).

CPC-Power is the Amstrad program database made by (but not only) Kukulcan and Loïc Daneels. You will find there databases of games, archives (documents like the documentation of CPC), Gamebase CPC, ads, and lately they added an Amstrad CPC demos database. One future feature for this site is to add the demos to my own database, but I will have to find the time for this.
XMAS 2009 is an intro by CMP (code), DevilMarkus (graphism) et Hermol (music conversion).

I am sad to say that NoRecess hasnt been always faithful to the Amstrad CPC, he has also made a demo in 2007 for the Sony PSP : Recession maxidemo.

X-mas 2008 is an Amstrad CPC+ demo released in December 2008 by Impact.
Phat is a demo by Norecess released in July 2008 for Amstrad CPC+, coded in C with the Z88dk C compiler.
Though you can see a video of Phat on Youtube, it will be better to use a real Amstrad CPC or an emulator.

Boules et bits is a demo by Vanity (Hicks and Beb) released in September 2006 for Amstrad CPC, sound by Tom & Jerry. It's a nice demo featuring 42 bouncing balls.
It's an answer to Maurice aime les bobs by Megachur and Super Sylvestre which featured 26 balls in June 2006
Maurice aime les bobs was itself an answer to Garcimor aime les balls by Ramlaid (Arkos - Mortel) which featured 20 balls in September 2004.

Though you can see a video of From Scratch on Youtube, it will be better to use a real Amstrad CPC or an emulator.
Sappy is a french Amstrad CPC+ demo by the Semilanceata group, released in January 2007.

Hate Beats is a demo released in October 2007 for Amstrad CPC+ by Ukonx, code by Power, code divers by Deemphasis, original graphics by Unison/Ozane, modified graphics by Grim (Semilanceata) and music by Deemphasis.
Ukonx is a french demo group, created in 1992, programming first on Amiga then on PC.

Pheelone is a new Amstrad CPC demo by Norecess (code), Ced (graphisme) and Targhan (sound). This demo needs 128 Kb memory, and has been programmed with Small Device C Compiler v2.9.0.

Killmax by OFE is the winning demo of the Amstrad expo 2009 meeting. The sense of humor of OFE is awful, that's why you will like the demo.
You can see a video of Killmax on Youtube (beware for a better sound run the .DSK in WinApe with a 44 Khz setting or on a real Amstrad CPC).
